June Pilgrimage - May 27-June 2, 2012
The June pilgrimage is held during the first week in June each year. The five routes begin from Albuquerque, Chama, Costilla, Estancia, and Bernal. All routes finish at the Santuario de Chimayo in Chimayo, NM. Closing activities begin at 9:30 AM in Chimayo on the Saturday concluding the pilgrimage. Each person must be 13 years old or older to participate in the June pilgrimage. A sponsor is needed for 13 year old participants.
Every participant over 18 is required to attend the Abuse Awareness Training for Adults: Creating a Safe Environment for Our Children (Previously known as the Sexual Abuse Misconduct Prevention Workshop)
